Summary:
This course provides an overview of the content of Publication 217, the Department's Community Impact Assessment Handbook, and an introduction to the Community Impact Assessment process.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Define the Community Impact Assessment.
- Identify steps of the Community Impact Assessment process.
- Describe how Community Impact Assessment relates to the Project Development Process.
- Identify available resources (tools, techniques, methodologies) when performing Community Impact Assessment.
- Describe the importance of public involvement in Community Impact Assessment.
