General Information

Summary:
This introductory course will educate PennDOT employees on processing workflows of basic surveying projects utilizing Trimble Business Center. The course discusses the use of Trimble Business Center software applications and recommended practices in an interactive environment.

Learning Outcomes:
-- Attendees will be able to explain the basic principles of the TBC software
-- Attendees will have a foundation to comprehend the underlying principles of creating and editing projects including importing and exporting data, and:
o GNSS functions such as baseline processing, OPUS, RTK/RTN Vector data processing, RTX processing
o Utilizing a FXL
o Derivation Reports, Custom Reports, Google Export
o Use COGO, Drafting, Transformation tools

Teaching Method:
Instructor Led

Prerequisites:
Must have Trimble Business Center Software v.5.7 installed on computer prior to class.

Special Materials:
-Two computer monitors is recommended so the attendee can visually follow along while preforming the same actions as the instructor.
-Trimble Business Center version 5.7 must be installed prior to this class.
