General Information

Summary:
The training outlines how to review construction schedules (Narrative, CPM, Resource Loaded), monthly updates, and time extension backup, monitor contractor progress, and a refresher on using Asta Powerproject, the Asta Web Portal, and Asta Project Comparison Tool.

Learning Outcomes:
The training must address the following to ensure participants will have working knowledge of the learning outcomes upon completion of this course:

• How to log into the Asta Web Portal
• How to download Asta schedules from the Asta Web Portal
• How to review resource loaded schedules
• How to review/interpret a baseline schedule or update schedule that was submitted by the contractor. (Such as but not limited to):
o Calendars
o Elements of a CPM are present (activity id, description, duration, logic)
o Relationships meet specification requirements
o One Critical Path
o Constraints & constraint types
o Ensure the pdf is one to one with asta file
o Meets contract requirements (such as but not limited to):
 Milestones
 Cure
 Settlement
 Environmental restrictions
 Paving deadlines met
 Permitting requirements
 Pouring sequence
o Schedule Updates • Critical Path Changes
• Milestone completion date changes
• Logic changes
• How to use the Asta Project Comparison Tool for analysis
• How to print a monitoring chart within Asta Powerproject
