General Information

Summary:
This is a 14.5 hour course presented over three days and it is intended for all ROW office users. The purpose of this course is to provide operational guidance and develop understanding of the Right -of- Way Office computer system (ROW Office). Training will be accomplished by assigned areas of responsibility to associate job requirements with operational functionality. Users will gain applied knowledge to the right-of-way process associated with project delivery.

Learning Outcomes:
At the conclusion of the course, attendees will be familiar with:
-Security level principles
-System log-on procedures
-General field definitions and business rules
-Interface communication principles with SAP and MPMS
-Establishing projects
-One-to -many data relationships (i.e. parcel to claim)
-IRS 1099 parcel address requirements
-Data search capabilities
-W9 vendor information procedures
-Valuation records
-Negotiations Progress requirements
-Allocations of damage
-Administrative settlement approval
-Condemnation entries
-Cost functions/internal order numbers
-How to troubleshoot invoice errors
-Relocation Assistance program entries
-District Office approvals
-Access to registered R/W reports
-Converted System (Pre-REMIS Archives) functionality
